Publication conditions
The editorial office is temporarily not accepting submissions due to the ongoing re-registration of the journal as a professional publication in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 19, 2026, No. 56, “On Amendments to the Procedure for Forming the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine” (registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on January 28, 2026, No. 129/45523). Submissions will resume upon the approval of the updated List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine.
To publish an article in "Ukrainian Journal of Natural Sciences" № 16/2026, it is necessary until March 27 2026 inclusive:
1. Fill in author's reference;
2. Send an article formatted in accordance with the specified requirements to ujns.zhdu@gmail.com .
Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
Academic integrity
The editors of the publication carry out an internal anonymous review of articles and a check for the presence of plagiarism. Articles in the publication are checked for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com software from the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
All articles recommended by the editorial board for publication are placed in the magazine on a paid basis. Payment is made only after the author receives confirmation of the editorial board's decision to accept the article for publication (authors receive details for payment of the publication fee by e-mail).
Publication fee
After successful review, the author will receive the details for paying the publication fee by e-mail. The cost of publication is 800 UAH (for 12 pages). Each additional page is charged at 40 UAH.
The editorial board accepts for free publication individual articles by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs, provided that they comply with the established requirements and principles of academic integrity.
Along with the article, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate from the postgraduate department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must bear the signature of the head of the postgraduate department and the official seal.
If desired, authors can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is 800 UAH, which is paid in addition to the publication fee.
The electronic version of the journal will be publicly available on the publication's website until May 31, 2026.
The printed version of the journal will be sent to authors of articles who order a printed version copy, until June 30, 2026.
