The text should be under the illustration and be sufficiently clear. Illustrations must be submitted in TIFF format with a resolution of 300 dpi for halftone figures (256 shades of grey) and 600 dpi for line figures (two-colour, black and white). The scale is indicated on the pictures (only black and white). Electronic copies of illustrations must be made in two versions: one with inscriptions, the other without them. Illustrations in colour shall be available in downloadable files. Illustrations shall be embedded in the text of the manuscript, as well as separately sent as image files in tiff or jpg formats with the figure number indicated. The number of illustrations, depending on the volume of the article, shall not exceed 5-6. The positions of illustrations shall be marked with numbers or letters with a mandatory explanation in the captions.
Geographical maps-diagrams shall be drawn up in compliance with certain requirements. Maps shall not be oversaturated with inscriptions that are not relevant for the article, crossing names and numbers is not allowed.
2. The "Table" function must be used to create tables. Tables should be clear and take up no more than one page. The table is placed in the text immediately after the first reference to it. Tables are numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals (for example, Table 1). Each table should have the heading at the top. Each column should have a short, clear title. Citation requirements and references
1. When writing an article, the author must indicate references to sources, data or individual results used in the text.
2. The references in the text shall be made according to the last name of the first author and the year in brackets. For example: one author – (Nagel, 2015; Patsiuk, 2021), two authors – (Kyrychuk & Muzyka, 2017; Denysyk and Lavryk, 2018), three or more authors – (Titov et al., 2020; Stadnychenko et al., 2016). If the author has several publications during the year, the following pattern is used (for example, Sheliuk, 2017a, 2017b).
3. Ignoring the rules of text borrowing (absence of references to sources of information, quotation marks when quoting, etc.) may cause fragments of the article to be regarded as plagiarism, as a result of which the publication will be refused.
4. The list of references shall contain at least 15 items, include relevant scientific works over the last 3 years, 30% of which should comprise scientific works that are included in the journals indexing in Scopus or Web of Science databases. It is recommended to avoid references to the research which is more than 10 years old.
5. The list of references should include only published or accepted works cited in the text. Lack of citation is the reason for refusal of publication.
6. References to the authors' own works (self-citation) are allowed, but not more than 10% of the total number of references.
7. The scientific works in the list of references shall be arranged without numbering in the alphabetical order by the last name of the first author of each publication (starting with works written in the Cyrillic, then in the Latin alphabet). The cited manuscripts with DOI shall include the indication at the end of the bibliographic description of the manuscript.
8. The list of references shall be provided in the original language. An English version of References (translated & transliterated) is provided additionally. If the work is written in the Cyrillic alphabet, then its description must be transliterated, and the names of manuscripts and publications (books, journals, collections) shall be additionally submitted in English [in brackets]. At the end of the bibliography, the original language shall be indicated in brackets, for example [in Ukrainian].
The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 27, 2010, No. 55 shall be used for the transliteration of the Ukrainian text into the Latin alphabet, http://translit.kh.ua/#passport.
9. The bibliographic list submitted in Ukrainian is drawn up in accordance with DSTU 8302:2015. For the English version, the authors should use APA style (American Psychological Association Style). More details here https://www.grafiati.com/uk/info/apa-7/examples/
