AI usage policy

The journal recognizes the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in research and supports their responsible, ethical, and transparent use.

Authors may use AI tools (e.g., for language editing, translation, or data analysis) provided that the following requirements are met:

  • the use of AI must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript (e.g., in the Acknowledgements or Methods section);
  • authors are fully responsible for the content, accuracy, and integrity of the submitted work;
  • AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors;
  • the use of AI must not result in violations of academic integrity (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification).

Reviewers are discouraged from using AI tools to evaluate manuscripts, as this may compromise confidentiality.

If AI tools are used, reviewers must:

  • not upload manuscripts or their parts to public or unsecured services;
  • ensure the confidentiality and protection of intellectual property.

The Editorial Board may use AI tools for:

  • technical checks of manuscripts;
  • detecting potential ethical issues (e.g., plagiarism);
  • improving editorial workflows.

All final decisions regarding manuscripts are made solely by human editors.

All participants in the publication process must ensure transparency in the use of AI and adhere to the principles of academic integrity.

Violation of this policy may result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the publication.
